Dr. James Bosson
Distant Horizons Scholar
Dr. Bosson has been accompanying Distant Horizons trips for seven years. He
taught at UC Berkeley for many years, while also conducting research in Central
Asia, and is currently affiliated with Harvard University. Dr. Bosson is an
expert on the language and culture of Mongolia and its Inner Asian cousins,
Tuva and eastern Siberia. His teaching skill are readily apparent in his interesting
lectures and engaging manner.
David Larson
Distant Horizons Escort
David Larson is a physician based in Southern California, with a taste for
travel. He has accompanied several Distant Horizons tours in the past, usually
to rugged destinations like Inner Asia.
